You can make converting old phone housings for modular handset or line cord jacks into fast, easy work with this convenient tool. The Tool (P/N 01305) has a unique mechanism that lets you make clean, one-handed notches with a minimum of effort The punch and die of the tool are made of heat-treated steel hardened Rockwell C45, with zinc-plating for extra corrosion resistance Each handle has a no-slip plastic coating that’s easy on your hands A loop on one ‘handle allows you to keep it in easy reach
The matching clear plastic Template (P/N 01357) (not included) has every pattern you need to make notches in any Bell type 500, 2500, 554, 2554, 565, 2565, 702, or 2702 phone housing The template (not included) is used with most Bell Type phones to correctly position the Notching Tool prior to cutting the housing. Each pattern is clearly marked; just position it over the housing, mark it and make your notch.
