Product Description

UNIWELD FV600 FUEL VALVE ADAPTER, DISPOSABLE CYLINDER (CGA600) TO "MC" ACETYLENE REGULATOR (CGA200)

Uniweld FV600 oxy/fuel adapter is a fuel valve adapter used to connect a Uniweld acetylene MC regulator (CGA200) to a disposable fuel cylinder (CGA600).

**All Uniweld acetylene regulator diaphragms and seals are capatible for use with either propylene (MAP//Pro) or propane fuel gas.

**Warning: Fuel compatibility with other manufacturer's acetylene regulators must be determined prior to use. The Uniweld 71 welding handle and Type 17 weld/braze tips will work properly using either of the fuel gases combined with oxygen.

*

*The CA550 cutting attachment will also work with either fuel gas. However, the cutting tip is fuel specific and must be changed.

TIPS Uniweld's Cap'n Hook tips are fuel specific.

HOSE: It is recommended to use grade "T" hose (part# H32AT) with propylene (MAP//Pro) or propane fuel gas. If using grade "R" hose (part# H32A) with propylene (MAP//Pro) or propane fuel gas, it must never be used in extremely cold temperatures below -10 deg F. This may cause the fuel gas to liquefy and act as a solvent that will attack the internal hose material. Always bleed off the remaining fuel gas in the hose after each use.

NOTE: There will be a noticeable performance and temperature difference when using propylene (MAP//Pro) versus acetylene and an increase in oxygen consumption.

*Acetylene burns at 5589 deg F with an oxy/fuel ratio of 1-1 respectively. *MAP//Pro burns at 5193 deg F with an oxy/fuel ratio of 3.5 - 1. *Propane burns at 4579 deg F with an oxy/fuel ratio of 4 - 1.

It is highly recommended to use a Type 17-3 or larger tip for brazing 3/8" and 7/8" copper line sets.
